Your Computer Guy is intentionally structured to provide low-cost, high performance and reliable technology solutions to its residential and business customers. Because we are an on-site consulting service, our overhead remains extremely low and therefore so does the cost to customers. We have partnered with companies like Gateway, Dell, PC Wholesale, and Computer Discount Warehouse to provide information technology equipment that best suits the customer’s needs and budget. As your information technology consultant, Your Computer Guy purchases off-the-shelf equipment that is tailored to suit your specific information technology needs. Because of this, all equipment and product warranties are covered by the respective manufacturer. We do, however, strive to provide information technology equipment that has the best mix of cost, service, and support (i.e., free limited, lifetime, toll-free technical support on selected products). Your Computer Guy only warranties the service and support that we specifically provide; however, we are available to assist you with obtaining service and support as specified in the manufacturer’s warranty at our normal hourly rates. Manufacturer’s warranties are normally available on-line for review prior to making any purchase decisions.

Quotes and proposals will be provided in written form prior to Your Computer Guy purchasing any information technology, equipment, or products unless you specify otherwise. Acceptance of a proposal constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Your Computer Guy.

Fees for our services will be billed at our standard hourly rate for work we perform. We will bill you monthly after we complete the service or support for actual time spent rounded to the nearest quarter hour (minimum 1 hr). Invoices for service and support are mailed on the 25th of each month there is an outstanding balance and are payable by the 10th of the following month. A finance charge of $10.00 will be assessed on any unpaid balance that is more than 30 days overdue. Invoices for items purchased on your behalf are normally delivered with the product (or mailed the next business day) and are due "on receipt." If turned over for collection, you agree to reimburse us for all cost of collection including reasonable attorney’s fees.
